Black/Green Glass Lenses 55 Eye Size

In 1917, Giuseppe Ratti, Italian photographer and owner of Berry Opticians, created Persol Sunglasses to accommodate the needs of pilots and sports drivers. Determined to provide maximum protection, comfort and flawless vision, Ratti’s creation revolutionised the eyewear industry. Persol, originating from “per il sole”, meaning “for the sun”, has advanced over the years and has developed to not only satisfy its customers' demands for lens technology but also present a wide range of luxurious shapes and styles.

In its history, the Italian brand has created many outstanding models that are unmistakably Persol. With their original designs and timeless appeal, their collection of iconic eyewear has been cemented in history through some of the biggest names in Hollywood, like Steve McQueen wearing Persol on and off the big screen. Synonymous with dapper style and sophistication, Persol sunglasses have an irresistible appeal to last throughout the decades.
