AM Eyewear Lenses and Frame
AM Eyewear are all hand made using the highest quality cutting edge materials sourced from around the globe. With only the highest quality materials and AM Eyewear's meticulous attention to detail, AM Eyewear are a brand that can't be missed.
AM Eyewear's acetate frames are constructed using Mazzacchelli's cellulose acetate- a far superior product to the mould injectable plastics commonly used but the majority of mass produced sunglass labels. Each frame is cut, shaped and polished to life by one of AM Eyewear's craftsmen. All metal frames are crafted from only the best high-grade, anti-irritant, nickel-free plated stainless steel. In addition to this technology AM Eyewear also carry either a quality seven teeth fixed hinge, or quality spring hinges.
AM Eyewear lenses have a "military grading" in order to achieve this ranking, these lenses undergo extensive tests for durability and strength. They also hold a superior light reflective index. LYX Lenses are light weight, scratch, heat and chemical resistant as well as all having a high UV Protection rating. As well as all this AM Eyewear have taken things one step further by applying an AR- Coating. This fine blue-hued layer reduces optical reflectivity or 'back glare' from hitting the eye from the back of the lenses. The Anti Reflective coating acts like an absorbing layer, and stops light from reflecting back into the eye, this increases wearer comfort and long-term eye health.
