Beyond the jewellery itself, what feeling or experience do you hope your pieces inspire in the people who wear them?

At Jaz Hand Made, every piece is designed to be timeless, wearable, and something you’ll actually reach for every day. For me, jewellery has always been about more than just how it looks. It’s about how it makes you feel.

I hope when women wear JHM they feel confident in their own style and a little more put together, even on the most ordinary days. Whether it’s layered up or just one simple piece, I want it to feel like a small reminder that you don’t need a special occasion to feel good about yourself.

You’ve built JHM alongside an incredible team. How has collaborating with your team shaped the way you lead and create?

Building JHM alongside an all female team has shaped the brand in the best way. There’s a level of intuition and understanding when women work together that you can’t really teach.

We’re constantly bouncing ideas around, supporting each other, and celebrating the wins together. That collaborative energy shows up in everything we do, from the designs we create to the way we run the business day to day. It makes the whole process feel a lot more meaningful.

As a founder, what obstacles have challenged you most, and how have they shaped your approach to business today?

One of the biggest challenges has honestly just been learning everything as I go. Running a business means wearing a lot of hats, and there have definitely been moments of self doubt along the way.

Over time I’ve learned to trust my instincts more and back myself in decisions. Those challenges have made me more resilient and have shaped how I lead today. I really value clear communication, a supportive team culture, and creating an environment where everyone feels encouraged to grow.

You are an inspiration to so many future female entrepreneurs out there. Can you share a few female leaders that have inspired you in your journey?

I’m constantly inspired by women who build things with authenticity and stay true to their vision. I love seeing female founders who support other women and create space for others to succeed as well.

Honestly though, a lot of my inspiration comes from the women in the JHM community. Seeing customers, creators, and other founders turn their ideas into something real is incredibly motivating. It’s a reminder that there’s room for all of us to succeed.

Looking ahead, what’s your vision for JHM, and what impact do you hope the brand continues to have on the people who wear it?

My vision for JHM is to keep creating jewellery that feels timeless, versatile, and genuinely wearable. Pieces that women reach for every day because they feel like them

As the brand grows, it’s really important to me that we stay true to what JHM started as: thoughtful designs, quality pieces, and a strong community of women supporting each other. If our jewellery can help someone feel a little more confident or become part of their personal story, then we’re doing exactly what we set out to do.
